The mission of 2026az01.informyourvote.com/ is to transform the way voters get information about candidates and, in doing so, help to build a better informed democracy.

Using our innovative web video format, citizens can access and share short videos of candidates answering questions about how they would vote on five specific laws that most effectively address today’s key affordability issues: housing, health care, child care, energy and wages.

By electing candidates with the most popular positions instead of the most money, we can bring transparency, accountability and integrity to a political system corrupted by the $10 billion of special interest donations that will be spent during the 2026 midterm elections to buy short, propaganda-focused ads that convey little or no information on what candidates will actually vote for, or do, for their constituents.

During the past 15 years, the non-partisan 2026az01.informyourvote.com/ has tested multiple democracy-enhancing platforms iterations,  and developed a model that is ready to scale. During the 2020 congressional primaries, we used our format to deploy two dozen video debates nationwide, working with local partners including the Atlanta Press Club Loudermilk-Young debates, and Indiana Town Halls.

In the months leading up to the June 2021 ranked choice NYC mayoral primary, InformYourVote implemented an innovative marketing strategy that attracted the largest viewing audience of any online voter resource. In a race won by less than 1% of the 900,000 votes cast, more than 150,000 New Yorkers viewed 320,000 short candidate videos on InformYourVote.org’s YouTube page.

2026az01.informyourvote.com/ seeks to create lasting and fundamental change that improves the electoral information ecosystem, counters disinformation, and reduces, once and for all, the corrupting influence that money has on politics.
